performancethe last time i did a performance with poetry was at theater lexor in heerlen (nl), march 24, 2010 and it looks like i won't do that in the near future.
the first time ever i performed was in 1984, reading poems in front of about 50 people (my biggest audience was 2000 people).
from 1993 onwards i integrated theatre, sounds (later on also video) and a sort of pop musician's act in my performances, including special clothes and make up. full of energy and very loud sounds. since 2004 i've done quite a lot of dada performances, like "acting" kurt schwitters' "ursonate".
